Our Philosophy

Our Arizona state licensed preschool program provides many opportunities for children to discover, learn and explore. The PreK learning environment uses a progressive theme-model and literacy-based curriculum including story time, art, creative social play, music/movement, small and large motor skill development, and alpha numeric concepts. Our program offers 1:6 student to teacher ratios, a morning class for 3 years of age and morning and afternoon classes for children 4 and 5 years of age.

Our Program

The three and four year old Adventures in Learning program meets on Tuesday and Thursday from 8am to 11am.The curriculum focuses on social interacting through shared story time, creative play and group activities including art, music and movement. The children are encouraged to interact with other children and adults.

The four and five year old ABC Explorers program meets on Monday, Wednesday and Friday offering morning and afternoon sessions. The curriculum encourages children to develop their fine motor, listening and social skills. Group times and circle times include opportunities for singing, art, music, movement, creative play, stories, and sharing. In addition, we focus on introductory levels of the alphabet, numbers and phonemic awareness. Details on each preschool program is accessible through the City's online registration website.

Kindergarten Summer Bridge Program

Our Kindergarten Summer Bridge Program is designed for 4 and 5 year old children entering kindergarten in the fall. The program goal is to prepare children for their first formal classroom experience. The progressive theme-model and literacy-based curriculum will include letter knowledge, print and phonological awareness, and emergent writing skills. Bridge the gap with either or both 3-week AM or PM sessions that are offered in June and July, Monday - Thursday, meeting 12 times per session. Litchfield Park Preschool Facebook
