"Ride & Seek" Bicycle Scavenger Hunt
Saturday, April 24, 2021
The Litchfield Park Historical Society is hosting a bicycle scavenger hunt on Saturday, April 24, 2021. This event is open to all – families, couples or individuals. Bike thorough historic Litchfield Park and learn about its history.
The Litchfield Park Historical Society is looking to create connectedness in our community with a new event this spring. Ride and Seek, a bicycle scavenger hunt on Saturday, April 24, is designed to be a fun, self-paced way to learn about our local landmarks, both historical and whimsical.
Check in starts at 7 am at Memorial Park, located on the SE corner of Wigwam Blvd and Old Litchfield Rd. in downtown Litchfield Park. Participants will receive clues and a map when they check in. This is a self-paced event and you may begin at any time. All scavenger hunt participants will be entered into a drawing for gift cards to local businesses.
• Helmets are strongly encouraged.
• Bring a water bottle.
• Bring your smart phone to scan QR codes along the route to answer riddles and solve clues.
• For those who prefer a low-tech option, LPHS will provide printed copies of information to help solve clues.
Participation in the scavenger hunt helps support Litchfield Park Historical Society Museum’s exhibits and programs. You can register online through April 23 or register in person the day of the event.
FREE Bike Rodeo from 9am – 12pm
The Goodyear Fire
Department and Phoenix Children’s Hospital will be holding a free bike skills
and safety event for all ages adjacent to the scavenger hunt check-in at the
north parking lot of Litchfield Elementary School at 255 W. Wigwam Blvd. Bring
your bike, scooter or skateboard and helmet! Safety professionals will be
on-site to check helmets for proper fit and teach bike and pedestrian safety
through a bike rodeo obstacle course. This is a free event and registration is
not required.
