Learn about this caring, charismatic and multi-talented missionary who bridged the gap between European and Native American cultures in early Arizona. Between 1687 and 1711, he established 24 missions throughout northern Mexico and southern Arizona and laid the foundation for the beautiful San Xavier del Bac near Tucson.
