Building Permit Application

There are two (2) forms to be filled out when making application for a building permit:

***Please note: If your deed restrictions require approval from a local homeowner’s association, HOA, the City may require written proof of the approval from the association prior to building permit issuance.

In addition, please be advised that issuance of the building permit will not relieve responsibility of the owner or owner’s agent to comply with the provisions of all laws and ordinances which govern the project’s construction and that the building permit becomes null and void if construction work has not begun within 180 days from date of building permit issuance.

If new construction or if the project's construction causes alterations to the exterior of the building, the City's Design Review Board (DRB) must approve the project before a City building permit application can be made.
